چکیده
The present investigation was carried out during Kharif season at the Horticulture Research centre of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University Agriculture & Technology, Meerut, U.P. 2020. D2 statistics applied to assess genetic divergence among 20 genotypes tomato using Mahalonobis analysis. experimental materials were planted in Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications. analysis variance revealed significant differences for all characters under study. grouped into five different clusters on basis affinity or diversity. Cluster III comprised highest 7 followed by I 4 genotypes, II also V 3 and IV lowest number 2 genotypes. mean value recorded fruits per cluster, plant, fruit yield plant (g), /ha (q) 1000 seed weight (g) cluster harvest duration (days), average seeds fruits, primary branches, height (cm), locules respectively. maximum intra distance found minimum IV. inter- between inter contribution manifestation exhibited hectare, fruit, height, duration, weight, fruit. Which could lead production a wide range beneficial variation improvement.

In vitro flowering and fruiting in tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.)
In vitro flowering and fruiting were induced in plants regenerated from calli of leaf explants of Lycopersicon esculentum var. Pant 11. MS medium supplemented with 2 mg/l BAP displayed the best response followed by MS with 2 mg/l BAP, 1 mg/ l ABA and 0.5 mg/l IAA. Flower buds were developed both directly from callus and regenerated plantlets from leaf explants under 16 h (39.3 μmol m-2s-1) phot...
متن کاملEffect of High Temperature and Heat Shock on Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) Genotypes under Controlled Conditions
Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum MILL.) is usually produced during the winter period in Sudan. In summer due to high temperatures, monthly average temperatures are between 31 to 35°C, a shortage of tomatoes is common. General environmental changes, especially global warming, may have an adverse effect on crop production in Sudan. The objective of this study is (i) to investigate the effect of he...

The study was undertaken to determine the dissipation kinetics of trifloxystrobin and tebuconazole residues on tomato under field conditions and thereby to ensure consumer safety. Three applications of a combination formulation, Nativo 75 WG (trifloxystrobin 25% + tebuconazole 50%) were made @ 350 and 700 g ha-1 at 7 days intervals. Tomato samples were collected at 0 (1 hr), 1, 3, 5, 7, 10 and ...
متن کاملProteomic analysis of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) pollen.
In flowering plants, pollen grains are produced in the anther and released to the external environment with the primary function of delivering sperm cells to the female gametophyte. This study was conducted to identify proteins in tomato pollen and to analyse their roles in relation to pollen function. Tomato is an important crop which is grown worldwide and is an excellent experimental system....
متن کاملSimulation of dry matter accumulation, partitioning and yield prediction in processing tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.)
Simulation of dry matter accumulation and the distribution of crop growth is an important means of predicting yield. In this study, a variety of cultivars of the processing tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.), sowing dates and densities were tested. By analyzing the quantitative relationships between growth and physiological development time (PDT) based on a knowledge model, dry matter parti...
